Description

When the engine is running the Charge Guard senses the voltage and allows the charge through the auxiliary battery.

When the engine is switched off the Charge Guard senses the voltage drop and separates and isolates both batteries.

This means that equipment powered from the auxiliary battery cannot drain the starting battery so there is always sufficient power in the starting battery to start the engine.
